I spend my days driving all over Central Arkansas, and I've noticed every town has its own personality. Some are polished, some are low-key, and some just light up every room they walk into. So naturally, I started wondering… if our towns were '90s celebrities, who would they be?

Here's what I came up with.

Benton is Tom Hanks 🎬

Benton is the dependable classic everybody loves. It's been the heart of Saline County forever, with a historic courthouse square, Friday night lights, and a downtown that turns into a block party every Third Thursday. Never flashy, never trying too hard, and somehow everyone's favorite. Like Tom in the '90s, Benton just keeps showing up and winning hearts.

Perfect for: People who want small-town charm, a strong sense of community, and neighbors who wave.

Bryant is Will Smith (Fresh Prince era) 🏀

High energy, fast-rising, and always where the fun is. Bryant blew up onto the scene with booming new neighborhoods, a school district families rave about, and Bishop Park buzzing with ball games all summer. It's charming, family-friendly, and has the confidence of a town that knows it's on the way up.

Little Rock is Oprah 🌟

The big star who does it all. Arts, food, culture, history, hospitals, concerts, the River Market… Little Rock has something for everybody, and everybody knows her name. She's the capital, the go-to, the one people come to for date nights and big events. You get a restaurant! You get a festival! Everybody gets a trail along the river!

Perfect for: Folks who want city life, historic neighborhoods, and something new to try every weekend.

Maumelle is Jennifer Aniston 💁‍♀️

Low-key, humble, and seriously underrated. Bauxite doesn't need the spotlight. This small town (named after the ore once mined there) has a quiet, loyal fan base that knows exactly how special it is. Small schools, a tight-knit community, and zero drama. Once you get to know Bauxite, you're a fan for life.
